Guaranteed Income Works National Tour
We’ve crossed the nation to share the stories of guaranteed income improving financial resilience, strengthening families and giving people the opportunity to build a more stable life.
Kicking off in June 2023 at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Guaranteed Income Works National Tour has visited 32 cities in 23 states.
The award-winning documentary, It’s Basic, produced by Michael D. Tubbs and directed by Marc Levin, spotlights guaranteed income programs across the U.S. Following recipients through their daily lives and featuring commentary from leading mayors, It’s Basic is a powerful call to action for policymakers to invest in guaranteed income to build a more just and equitable society.
We took It’s Basic on the road with the Guaranteed Income Works national tour. In addition to a screening of It’s Basic, each tour stop featured the voices and stories of recipients of guaranteed income, as well as local Mayors, elected officials and community partners.
